        Monitor: Samsund 22" LCD
        CPU: INTEL Core i7 2600
        Cooler: Air
        Motherboard: Intel DH67CL
        Memory: Corsair 8GB DRR3
        GPU: Gigabyte HD 6950 1GB
HDD: Corsair 120GB SSD Force 3
        Chassis: CM 690 Gen 1
        PSU: Corsair G600
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit

      GPU Issues.

This should be the right place to start off.

I have two graphics card right now.

      HD 6850

      GTX 275

I have them in two different setups at home. Both of them have the same fucking problem. HIGH TEMPERATURES in some games. Both the PCs are properly ventilated with 120mm and 92 mm fans. High RPM.

      This is where I’m at.

      COD:MW2 with Vsync toggle = 95 C

      Metro 2033 = 105 C

Crysis 2 [Even with that graphics control utility]= 95 C

      Now.
Dead Island = 100C and rising.

      Now my questions

1 –What cheap solution is there to get rid of this heating problem? When games don’t have a vsync toggle option.

2 – Do those new cards with 2 fans make a difference? Like most MSI cards that have 2 fans?

DONT tell me that temperatures are the in the safe zone. I can't leave kids at home just playing games and blowing up GPUs.

Well man you definitely aren't in the safe zone,we think of those temps that you've mentioned when we've overclocked our GPU's and in Bench runs.
GTX 275 does get hot as its processor die is based on the 55nm fabrication but still should get till that much.

Have you inspected dust inside your cards?
If no,then please mention which casing's both the cards are fitted in?

Also that what are the ambient temps of your room?

And Yea,newer cards with 2 fan's on a custom heatsink design do make A LOT of difference in temps, more air is pushed in which pushes more heat away per second as compared to a single fan which usually stock Vendors of cards have like EVGA.

I think that u r running these gpus on lower PSU thats why it is causing heat problem

      Secondly

If u have better PSU then Just Open The Graphics Card all screws on the back and put out the cover i mean heatsink and clean it carefully and remove all the dust and if u have thermal paste plz put some on The GPU chip

I am Sure that this will work...

There is no DUST inside the cards. Not that much anyway. I do a routine sweep with a vacuum and a blower.

The GTX 275 is in a CM 690

The hd 6850 is in a Thermaltake Armor A 30.

The PSU with the GTX 275 is a CM M620 watts. 57Amps on 12V+

The PSU with the 6850 is a Corsair GS 700. 56Amps on 12v+

I dont have good experience with blowers . They make the fan go way too fast. I dont know what kind of damage can happen but definitely it damages the fan. Was doing cleaning on some PC. Had 80mm fan in it. The fan didn't work properly after the service/cleaning.

Now what i would suggest is. Open the Gpu's. Get Arctic MX-3 and apply it after thorough cleaning. Then try again.

Have you manually tried setting fan speed to 100% ? You'll have to reapply thermal paste since 95C for mw2 is way too much.

Man everything seems perfect and i wouldn't go as far as reapplying thermal pastes.Try to open the side panels of your case and see the temps and secondly are you monitoring your GPU's fan speeds, meaning do they run at their require speeds?

Both EVGA Precision and MSI Afterburner have failed to keep the temperatures down.

Ambient room temperature is 20. Ive tried to keep the air conditioner on for hours before playing a game and same fucking result.

What's pissing me off most is that the same shit is happening with both the systems with completely different setups

How much difference on a scale of 1- 10. one being low, ten being highest does re-applying thermal paste get?

o bhai keep your finger at the fan not letting it move. Zahir hai **** jana tha pankhay nay :P

@OP try the two x 120mm fans around the GPU setup like shary. Ask him for the pic.
