I want a mid range processor bcoz 1st of all i'm running e2220 which is owned by my younger brother and i've borrowed it from him and the poor guy since a couple of months is running a p3. Secondly i can always overclock a mid range processor upto the fastest dual core processor's speeds coz i've got a very gud aftermarket cooler (Enzotech ultrax) and a real gud overclocking mobo (asus p5w-dh having 8 phase power regulator for overclocking), as i've done with e2220 and taken it to 3.3Ghz with bus speeds upto 1200Mhz which is defeating the performance of stock e7400 convincingly.

you have the budget of 16k right? ..... then why dont you buy a Nvidia GTX275. That will be a good choice, but there is only one drawback, you will have to change your PSU then.

What do you say about this Faraz??
where is this gtx275 available for 16k? and who is this faraz :s me or that sms wala FARAZ

As E5200 is available for 6K and one of my friend bought E7200 for 6.5K, so which one to go for? Can E7200 be overclocked upto the levels of E5200 which can go upto 4Ghz.

i personally tried 3 E5200, each reached 4 GHz easily, but regarding E7200 i don't have experience, but according to reviews E5200 can reach 4 GHz easier than E7200,
however, if u get a chance to purchase a used one, then u can verify its VID then get it,

i personally recommend u to keep ur e2220 (@ 3300 MHZ) for a few months and now try to get GTX 260 or ATI 4870 if ur major purpose is gaming, if not then get a midrange GPU like xfx 9800GT/his 4830 iceq/palit 4850 DDR5 and spend on Quad core,

@voodoo: Bro i'm really limited on budget as i got 16k which may be stretched to 18k and in that i've to buy gpu and processor so i don't think i might be able to go Quad core coz of limited budget plus i'll also need to change my psu for that. The only hope for me is to get some real gud stuff in used.

Between waiting is another option for me if it's worth it. Does anyone of u know if the prices for gpu and processor gonna go down in a month?

Sorry to say mate but your thinking of inno is completely wrong, If you can find this, it would be better than any other 9800GT

Inno3D 9800GT I chill, this is the most coolest and gives around 10-15% more performance than a standard 9800GT, you can overclock it even more than the factory OC.
