MSi GTX 560 ti Hawk would give you better performance in most games whereas the 480 in benchmark's.

The GTX 560/Ti uses the newer GF114 core, which is CUDA compute 2.1 capable as opposed to the GTX 480 which has the older GF100 core and supports CUDA compute 2.0.

Even though the 480 has more cores and is more powerful card overall, in some apps/scenarios the 560 Ti may be faster.

So I'd say,go for the 560 ti hawk

Fine then you should definitely opt for GTX 460 SLi in that budget......or a single GTX 560Ti if you prefer single GPUs..

If you can find a used GTX 480 with custom cooling solution, it would be best choice.

Otherwise, AMD HD 6950 2 GB is ideal pick among these for gaming experience. Its 2 GB video memory size would really help in taxing situations. However, AMD does not offers PhysX support.

Therefore, MSI GTX 560 Ti HAWK is good choice. But GTX 460 SLI option is much better.

      Good luck.

No, GTX 480 is faster card in real sense.

Normal users have nothing to do with CUDA capabilities of graphics cards. They just play games.

The only drawback of GTX 480 is its operating temperatures. Even though it is designed to tolerate very hot temperatures, some may not be comfortable with this.

A GTX 480 with custom cooling solution would be better choice.
