no i am asking if someone is using INTEL DP55WG which is SLI but dont support OC
so if someone get i7 and get two gtx 460 will the mobo be a waste ? if 2gtx 460 getting bottlenecked

hmm, I doubt you would need to OC an i7 to keep with GTX460s still even if there is a bottleneck it will probably be not more than 10%

was searching for it found these line on a FORUM

Yes and no, a stock 930 bottlenecks me in ffxiv benchmarks, but it all depends on the game. See below:

      Stock speed i7 930 + GTX 460 = 4800 score
OC the card by 200 mhz = 5000 score
OCing the cpu to 3.6ghz = 5300 score
add another GTX 460 and stock cpu speed = 5400
      SLI gtx 460 + 3.6ghz = 6500 score
      SLI gtx 460 + 4ghz = 7000 score

So with ffxiv at least the CPU becomes a bottleneck once going SLI.

      So I guees i7 860 at 3.6Ghz would do for two GTX460s
