Soo, I searched the forums and found that there wasn't much about headphones (Something I'm very, very interested in). What do you guys use for your listening? Where'd you get it from and for how much?
And if you want any guidance for headphone buying, then I'd be happy to help. I read a lot about them (Hols; I'm free and have nothing to do) and believe myself to have decent knowledge regarding them.

Those Sony cans are SAX! Seriously man. Why havent I heard of them before? Now thats something Id like to try out.

And the Marshmallows are really, really good. One of the best bang for buck iems. Only the Meelec M2 are better than them in that price range, and that only slightly better. Id recommend them to anyone!

And Beats? Please, man. Dont even get me started. Theyre only good if you wanna look 'cool' to some people. Seriously. Theyre hugely overpriced (you pay 75% for Dr Dre's name and all the celebrity endorsements, 25% for the headphones themselves). You can get much better for much less.

About damn time someone made this thread. I'm a bit of an audiophile myself and I currently own JVC HA RX-700. Got them from a guy on PG for Rs. 4000.

I daresay these are the best headphones for the price. The internet reviews are full of praises. And I believe JVCs are severely underrated. They are right up there against your Senheissers and Beyers.

EDIT: Those SONY headphones are built for gaming, don't expect spectacular sound quality from them.

Well, JVC are under rated here in Pakistan, atleast. The Marshmallows would give the earbuds you get at Sony a run for their money. But I wouldnt go as far as saying theyve the best budget headphones. The Koss KSC-75 are the best budget headphones hand down. Cheap, good SQ and a lifetime warranty. Doesnt get much better than that.

Built for gaming doesnt mean that theyll have terrible sound man. I wouldnt expect them to be great for music, but lets see. They may have an excellent soundstage.
