Mx518 is best for palm grip, u can find it here in this price range,

      Pros:
Most durable mouse, not having double click problem.
      Big in size.
      best suitable for palm grippers

      Cons
tOO much sweaty in summer season

Another option is Microsoft intelli 3.0, its also big in size, for palm grip and also for claw grip

If u could raise ur budget to 2k then go for the Razer Death Adder...
nothing comes close to that mouse..
used it for two urs for all my games..
      and its surely a treat...
after that yes the MX-518 is a good choice..
personally dont like the A4tech mouse..
doesnt have the class and grip what these professional mouse do..
      rest upto u brooo~!

@mave3! Deathadder is hell expensive and costs nearly 5k. Even in used, you can't find it for price less than 3k. AND if you do ... the condition of the mouse will speak for itself.

In 1.5k Budget, i would choose the XL-747H AntiVibrate any day. Nothing beats the mouse in Price/Performance. Brand New costs just a little above Rs.1500 (Rs.1600 Max) ... and the quality of its Laser Sensor is justified for its price. (Its still mediocre, so dont keep your expectations too high). Not to mention that its sensor's tracking is much better than the Optical Sensor used in MX-518, which is a little expensive ... but the Durability of that mouse is Overrated. Because to me, both mice (XL747H and the MX51 are equally durable.

That said, The design of the mouse is similar to deathadder so if anyone is interested in a Palm Grip mouse, this would be a likely choice for that person.

And how often do you find one?

If you must know, Deathadder has this inevitable problem that it goes bad for about 6-8 months of usage. Sensor stays well, but the Double Click and Scroll Wheel starts to give you trouble. And before you judge me, i happen to be one of the biggest Razer Deathadder fan you'll find here. And i have used 4 of 'em. Stopped buying it when the price crossed 3k mark (and went all the way upto 5.5k). I dont consider it to be a worthy price/performance product anymore.

BUT ... it doesn't change the fact that it still is one of the Best Gaming (especially for FPS fanatics) to date.

Dont get me wrong, but both of the mice are STUPID, ESPECIALLY for their prices. Both mice have a Deathadder sensor, but all they actually offer is ... a different design. That said, they are even more unreliable than a Deathadder.

And like I said before ... Razer products look flashy, eyecatching. Other than that, they tend to go bad very soon and doesn't even cover the amount you have spend on 'em.

IMO, there are ONLY TWO Products worthy of the purchase by Razer:
      - Razer Deathadder
      - Razer Mamba (one of the best wireless gaming mice)

Just to clear some confusions ... most people will ignore the X7 product because its made by "A4Tech". They'll always get the image of a Lame company making Cheap, Unreliable products. While its actually NOT TURE and is completely the Opposite.

For a middle class person with reasonable (or cheap) budget ... there are Plenty of A4Tech products which are worth the purchase. Products including Headphones, Keyboards, Mice and what not.
