NO !! u got a wrong perception there are some mobos which only supports core 2 cpus like intel G3x and G4x series

im wondering if he has intel 945GC series chipset mobo which supports P4/PD to C2D he could upgrade to core 2 duo or pentium dual core or atleast a pentium D

check its speces it supports all lga775 processor

@Shining Wizard is Correct here as Intel DG41RQ does not list Pentium4 500/600 and Pentium D 800/900 in the Supported Processor

look bro i did not mentioned the c2d alone i meant to say "CORE 2" series of processors which means all Intel made microprocessors based on core micro-architecture from Pentium Dual-Core, Core 2 Duo to Core 2 Quad !!!
