      [NBA] Alienware Displays - No idea about the cost so help me with it.

      AOA everyone recently i hav been planning to buy an lcd and watch movies and do a lilttle gaming currently i
      have my eyes set on the alienware Aw2310 3D lcd.Now i know i req nvidia glasses and a compatible gpu cuz
      currently i have an Asus G50 VT with 9800gs and i dont think it supports 3d but just for the future and gud
      quality should i go for it and whts the market price tag where is it available in rwp, isl or lhr?

      brother for proper 3d u requiere a mean rig ---unless of course u wana dial down every thing ---3d takes a toll ....so unless u got dough to dish out --stay away

      Main objective is to play 3d movies what do u recommend?What else do i require besides the glasses how much would a simple pc with enough power to play 3d movies cost and does any1 know the price of Alienware AW2310

      You're right, the 9800 GS isn't 3D ready. The monitor that you've chosen is actually great but I'm not sure if you can find it that easily in Pakistan. Although, this guy was selling one, contact him for more info:

      So the bottom line is that i could buy the lcd and later on upgrade to maybe a new laptop or a good rig btw can we connect a bluray DvD player ?

      If your primary motive is gaming, then there's nothing better than a gaming rig. But if its just for movies, then any second gen decent laptop would do as they usually all support HDMI 1.4a .You can do whichever (LCD or laptop), its your move.

      Those are known as media players but they are a completely different thing. Your G50's graphic card which is the 9800m GS is very old and it doesn't support 3D output.

      All second generation and higher laptops which have an HDMI output supports HDMI 1.4a which is 3D ready. In other words, you don't need to buy a high-end gaming laptop with a dedicated graphic card just to get you 3D support, it can also be done with HD graphics 3000/2000 now.

      ok i get it now this is going to be a very xpensive purchase 1st the lcd then a laptop and finally glasses..........50k ki daz hai i dont think its worth it just for 3d movies maybe i should wait for prices to come a bit low
