but u have to use primer first so paint would stick better. now put the cover off and see paint on clips of side panel. it'll be scratched off. and it will go with the time. but as ur first try its looking great. keep up the moding work

its base cote. used befor paint. it helps to stick paint strongly
for now dont do it again. just chill. do it after sometime when u think its the time.

^ yes u can do that the reason why we do sanding is that paint dont stick well on smooth surface by sanding we roughen the surface
also use primer then.

its alright for now but if the paint starts to come off, you can do the whole process then. The thing is if you dont sand the surface it remains smooth and paint wont stick to it properly and sooner or later it will start coming off.
