Lightbulb [OC] ..OC vs non-Oc not much difference?

      OK here is the thing...
I overclocked my q6600 from 2.4 to 2.8Ghz..But still dont feel any differnce..or its better to say very less difference.? why is it so?
or overclocking can barely magane to produce such difference?
      Without overclcok.
Checked from WInrar benchmark,,games,,,and other benchmarks....
      Pics Before
      Spoiler: show

      After Overclock..
      Spoiler: show

in games i know it wont matter cuz of GPU...
and i cantg overclcok more, cuz it will crash my system...and limitation of software overclcoking

So, my question is, is overclocking useless? with this difference 300KB more?

it helps bottlenecks with high end gpus .and increased fps in games look at your stock wprime scores and the ones after the oc .
at stock mine were around 8sec after oc they were at 5 .thats much difference .

vantage scores went up like 6k thats ALOT in 3dmark points .
if you cant overclock more thats your psu and cpu limitation and your cooler aswell .

look at a few other forums guru3d or anandtech or toms hardware or the firingsquad forums and you will see the difference this was a troll post btw

what is your motherboard pll? u checked it before overclocking? if not then check it and then overclock with that pll using setfsb..i have a guide of overclocking on intel motherboards.
and if u want to overclock more...reduce your ram speed from bios because ram speed on increase when we increase fsb and ur ram cant handle more fsb so reduce its speed....
