At above two people:

XFX did make the cards, but only for a very short period. Their license was taken away from Nvidia and they were unable to make cards for this series from that time onwards. But as I said, there were still a very few cards that were already made and were into the market before the license was revoked.

Hope that clears up the confusion.

@ all those who are wondering , this is perfectly an original XFX product , xfx and nvidia had some troubles later on after a bunch of 4 series nvidia cards were manufactured , after that already manufactured cards were distributed in Asian market i.e China , singapore , australia etc ,

But the license was revoked waaaaaaay before the making of GTX 5xx series and you can spot these 5xx series cards in the market....Somebody else is doing this job for xfx...
