ya bro but Pentium D is also Dual Core series and it is more powerful then dualcore 2ghz 2mb cache processor and about price if u people are interested then post ur offer if i agree then u can get and i checked the price in market its Rs.4500/-

and about performance against dual core 2ghz L2 2mb if i overclock this cpu to 4.0Ghz

Yaar intel wanted to adopt a new brand name to introduce thr new 64bit dual core CPU's.
as all the pentium processors were 32bit and single cored and were pinn proceessors,,
where as AMD was considered a better gaming CPU bak in the days of P4 cuz of its 64bit technology..

So for marketing intel introduced Dualcore so tht ppl will ask wht is dual core...
Come on ppl its so simple..
Thr r dual cores whch will outperform ur Core2duos....
It all abt FSB,Memory bandwidth,Cache and using the appropriate physical memory with the CPU

Sorry Kashif mc but i felt these guys needed a lil info abt how many new logos and names are just for marketing benefits......
