Dead Space 2 MP Beta invites being sent out!

Check your inboxes! Select Dead Space 2 fans have been "hand selected" for a closed multiplayer beta. Scott Probst, Multiplayer Producer, explains in the invite e-mail: "We have just launched a small beta which will help us polish the game, and we have selected you to help us achieve that goal! We are still several months away from the game's release, and there is still plenty of work to be done prior to shipping the game." In addition to a PSN voucher, the invite e-mail includes a link to a forum for participants to offer feedback.

Unfortunately, the e-mail doesn't detail how participants were selected. The invites appear to be targeted to members of EA's online community, with no regards to PlayStation Plus. We'll update this post if EA can offer us any more details.

Seriously, I started laughing after i checked my inbox. I was already invited and I had just registered again for the beta. Yay for EA, I am in the Elite group.

Lol actually this beta isn't for PS+ users or something.

Only the select few who finished Dead Space 1 and registered on the site are getting in.

I myself was shocked after opening my inbox, I got the Closed Beta invite yesterday at 5.07 Am while I signed up for the beta today too just before afternoon. Seriously, am I the first person to get invited? No you will get a beta invite, I hope so. Didn't you read their post on their Facebook page?

I finished Dead Space about a month ago and the game, I borrowed it from Ahmad498. I didn't even go for the platinum trophy. Lucky me!

You probably know that I made a mistake and I know that you are not an idiot too, how in the world can I ever get Dead Space 2 tell me? Sorry, I am mixing up the names of games these days. Downloaded the beta and will play in a while.
