Cant play online with friends. Help needed.

I am unable to connect with my friends when trying to play a game online, but we can connect to other servers, like in Serious Sam. I have also played on MBL servers. I tried with both friends having the same network(ptcl) and a different network(maxcom). I also used Hamachi but that doesnt seem to get me anywhere either. I have tried the games Tiberian Sun, Serious Sam, Generals and Rise of Nations. I cant seem to figure out the problem. Any help would be appreciated.

there is a strike at ptcl headquarter..may be the problem is due to the strike ..or there might be something related to port forwarding...make a thread in broadband section or ask moderator to move this one....to get related replies
