      WorldCall?

Since I'm effectively paying 3000 a month for my PTCL 4mb connection (with the data cap and all), I was thinking of shifting to WorldCall's 4mb cable broadband (2000/month, no limits). Is anyone currently using that? Hows it working for you? I haven't been able to find any reviews online.

well i have had the worst experience with Worldcall. Specially during loadshedding season, worldcall internet is often off. Complained like a million times, no luck. shifted to PTCL and all is well except the shock of a 3k bill.
I would suggest to wait a bit as i think other internet providers might follow with this fair usage policy BS.

Using WorldCall cable broadband for 3 years now. In all these years I just had a problem one time when my cable was cut and it took them 10 days to connect a new one. Otherwise it's 24/7 working.I use the 2mb one.

i use my 2mb worldcall broadband internet, my download speed ( through torrent ) is 24/7 at 210-250 kb/ps, also, streaming and gaming is also as good as you're going to get, i have had bad experiences with ptcl, which makes me think that it all depends on your location.

You asked for my opinion and my opinion is that according to me shifting to worldcall is a good choice.

If there's an issue with the connection only then the speed suffers, otherwise it's around 450-480 kBps.

Yep, using 2mb. Works flawlessly. I do sometimes get a high ping but I'm not sure if its weak router signal or.. whatever :P

I'm using it since 2007 and never disappointed Me upgraded to 1mb recently and works great! constant speed of 100-120 kbps while spikes range from 130-170. location is shahra-e-faisal so no issues about connectivity. sometimes if there is a fault, customer support is there to help and problem is usually solved within 24 hours maximum. I'm very satisfied by their services!
