Using WIFI device for internet trafficking

I just wanted to know whether I can connect my wifi Tenda router to my desktop and use internet on mobile, laptop etc.

Actually I use an evo device so I thought to connect the router to my computer for internet trafficking, wanted to know is it possible? If yes then how as I tried but couldn't succeed.

Trafficking means to smuggle. You want to smuggle internet access? See how silly that sounds. Your terminology is all wrong. What you want to do is Internet sharing.

WiFi is a standard so it should work with ANY wifi enabled device. That is why they standardised it. Anyway most likely your security settings on the router are preventing your other devices from connecting. Why don't you post details about your router model number, security settings, model numbers of your laptop and other devices? Without these details we can't help you.

Cant you connect your laptop and mobile directly with the router? If they have wifi that should be possible.
