      ptcl disconnecting... :@:@

      Hello guys i m now fad up with this ptcl dis connection thing... the problem is its keeps on disconnecting after 2 mins.. i dont knw why... i picked up the handset and check if there is disturbance in the phone line but its fine...

      i dont knw what do ptcl complain line sucks a big time... doing nothing....
      my modem is ZXDSL 831 CII

      here a screen shot

      In SNR MARGin DS some times get very high while some time US get very high then Ds... dont knw a shit about these things.....

      here a screen shot need ur help brothers....

      Dude no offense but those are worst possible SNR margins and Line Attenuation. You would be lucky if the DSL remains stable at even 512Kbps speed at those line stats.

      Ideally your SNR margins should be 25 plus and line attenuation should be below 15. You should apply for fiber optic telephone line number and get DSL on that and this DSL desync/disconnection problem will get fixed. If you have a copper number and live far away from nearby PTCL exchange then getting a totally new wire from Distribution Point to your house won't make the signals significantly better. Your best bet is to get a fiber optic phone number.

      BTW try a "jugaar" and see if it helps with the random disconnection. Turn off your DSL modem. Pick up the telephone mouthpiece from cradle and place it at the table away from cradle so that phone line would be busy. After that turn on your DSL Modem. Use the internet after it gets synced and connected. See if it helps a bit with random disconnections. If not then you should definitely get fiber optic phone number.

      Brother do 2 things.

      1.open your main ptcl wire box(the one which has the black wire comes directly from telephone pole) and un screw both the connected wire and join them for 30 seconds(do this with the help of plas some times telephone wire has a lil current )After that again screw them.

      2.Change the ADSL mode to G.Dmt or ADSL2+ in your modem.

      Hope it will work for you as it work for me in past
