Guys,
So here is the story, i had ptcl student package 1 mb, i requested 1218 about a week ago to upgrade it to 4 mb.......they said it will be done in 24-48 hours......Ok next day i checked, i was getting same 1 mb speeds. I called them up again and asked about upgrade, they said it has already been done, your port is upgraded to 4 mb.............i said no i am still getting same speeds that i was getting before......He forwarded complain, it went on like this till next day and at midnight next day, it started to give me 2 mb speeds........Now it has been 4 days after that i have complained and complained, till date i am not getting 4 mb speeds, still getting same 2 mb speeds.......I have tp link dsl modem........
i have asked them again and again to send a technician at my place to check what could be the problem, they have acknowledged my request thrice in last 3 days but no one showed up.......even today around 12 pm they called me and asked if my connection is now fine, i said no it is not, send the damn technician, he said ok i am sending, guess what no one showed up.......They have made me sick, i am so furious that i am considering to F*** them all up......
They have confirmed that my line is in perfect condition, snr, attenuation are ideal......i am pretty close to exchange as well, within 2 km radius......can somebody tell me if there are any settings i need to check in my modem until those bastards send a technician at my place....somebody else faced this kind of problem?
