O bhai when the PTCL people called you that SIR DO YOU WANT TO UPGRADE TO 2MB OR DO YOU WANT TO SAVE MONEY AND STAY ON 1, you should've said UPGRADE.
You can either be cheap, or fast. You can't have the power of a BMW inside an FX.

haha ok weird the speedtest shows 3.2mb to 3.5mb but im getting same 200k on torrents 2mb speed :S damn not upgraded here yet

on a copper line here ! had them put a new copper wire last yr or soo !

They called in March and asked the 2 MBPS students package people whether they want to be downgraded to 1 MBPS students package or want to remain on 2 MBPS and give 2000RS. Thats where they make the mistakes for the likes of people such as Wh33ls and SPEEDY. They are lucky

slight same thing happend with my friend he got the 1mb connection non student then he said to change it to Student and they said aapka hojaiga and it never happend still paying same non student so they are lazy guys at paper work
i ordered new line with Dsl 2 months back..and last week i got the installation...Damn they are really slow...
^ Really depends on your exchange actually. Took me around 1month aswell, but for a friend of mine it was just 3 days :S

Actually, it took just 3 hours! I applied in the morning, I received a phone call at 11 AM, a guy appeared at the door at 3 AM.
its just follow up...i went to xchange took the guy along with me brought him home and he just took 15 mins and tadaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.!
