[SOLVED]How much speed in EVO 3.1mbps are you getting?

Hello fellows,
I am using Student package 1mb and I am not being able to manage my ratios on ipt and bitgamer which Invitation I received here on pakgamers. Thank you pakgamers and users all of you thank you very much.

Now I wanted to upgrade my connection to 4mb Dsl but the dsl office here in gujranwala says my house is far from the exchange and 4mb won't work. I want to buy EVO 3.1 mb but before that I wanted to know if any body is using it here.

How is its service and how much exactly speed do you get in Kbps. I get 117kbps on my regular 1mb dsl connection.

If any body knows please help. Thank you.

The 1mb dsl is way better than 3.1mb evo, I used to get 512kbps in DHA Phase IV, Karachi (in the house), and around 700kbps in Islamabad (outside my house). The max I ever experienced on an evo device was around 1mb in Blue Area, Islamabad.

For your seeding purposes, you can get a cheap seedbox for as low as $10 like here. The hard disk space will be low, but enough to improve your ratio.
You are currently paying around Rs. 850 - 900 I guess, and you are ready to pay around Rs. 1000 more, which makes roughly $10.
However, this option is good only if you wish to maintain ratios on private trackers.

Thank you very much for your answer brother but how can 1mb possibly be better when you are saying you are getting 512kbps minimum I was going to buy EVO even if I can get around 400kbps. And if it's true you can get 1mb I am going to hang ten antennas on my roof for better signal.

Have any one else get this much speed?

EVO 3.1 is crap dont go for it ...ull never get a good speed....!!!

In layman terms, he is saying that he gets 50 kb/sec speed at home and 110 kb/sec in blue area. Or in other words, EVO is crap, stay away from it. My personal experience with EVO is really bad especially the new models. The old and original models were way better IMO despite a bad design.

I had evo for a month about 3 monts ago, its speed depends in the area you live in. Most of the times it doesn't work well in congested areas, such as in cities. Only buy evo if someone in your area has it and can confirm the exact speed he gets. My house is in a open colony a little outside from the main city of faisalabad and I used to get around 250-300KB/sec which was excellent.
