[NBA] A Good Range Wifi Router

Hi guys..as i am not much familiar with wifi routers...earlier i had some bad experience with two of tplink routers..they were not giving me good range..
actually my room is upstairs and my dad wants to have the wifi signal in his room downstairs..it is not that much of distance ..
But still i am looking to buy a wifi router with very Good range..but i am just zero percent unaware of the different models around here and i am also busy with my exams so dont have time to read reviews on different routers..

so those guys who have used some ultra or good range routers or read reviews plz recommemend a Good router say in budget of MAx 4.5k may be used or new...

You need to be more specific. Do you face problem of limited range?

      Their are two decent solutions:

      1. Get a Range Extender or Range Booster device. It will amplify the range of your the router.

      Or

      2. You can bridge your two routers and place them at different floors to get signal in your entire home (assuming that both of them work).

TP-Link is the best choice for you in this budget, if you really want to get another router.

Following TP-Link routers can solve your problem:

      Option 1: TL-WR940N

      Option 2: TL-WR941ND

Option 3: TL-WR1043ND (This model is above your budget though)

Linksys routers are expensive. TP-Link will do the job at less cost.

DD-WRT is a performance enhancing firmware for routers. It is a sort of tweaking device for routers.

Here is a list of DD-WRT compatible devices: Supported Devices - DD-WRT Wiki

However, Range Booster or Range Extender device is more convenient and safer option.

Go for the Linksys man...that's the bestes Router you can ever buy, as for TP-link don't fall for it just because its cheap n all and gives some good features. As for my self im using also Linksys, D-Link & Tp-link atm and honestly speaking Linksys and D-Link are superb, as for tp-link I just threw it away few months back because of its poor reception n all, and honestly speaking I thought my TP-Link had a problem so I bought a few models of it and believe you me they were as garbage as well as useless. So from my point of view go for Linksys or D-Link with your eyes shut and plz don't fall for TP-Link, a lot of people will recommend you TP-Link but in reality they are just making you fool they as they are all ready are fools themselves (NO Offence People).
