Intalling games in USB Flash Drive need help...

      Model: NTSC-J Jasper
      MFD: 25-9-2009
      Dashboard: Spring Update 2010

      Problem:
I need to turn down the loading time by installing games in my USB Flash Drive but the problem is that XBOX 360 gives me this message when I go Install the game.
      No memory storage device found
I have seen many people using their flash drives to install the games but why I am having this problem.

      Other Information:
      1) It's not like that the 360 does not recognizes my storage device when I plug the USB it appears in the memory unit & I can access media from it.

2)When I configure it with Xbox 360 it gives me the message that the usb is configured successfully & then I can transfer or copy my saves, avatars, themes, profiles etc.
      Like this
      usbmemoryunit.jpg
But I want to install the game it shows the error message that no storage Device found.

      3) I have used 2 USB's units 2GB & 6GB but both showed the same result.

      -------------------------------------------------------------

Can any one help me with this

according to that image you have 1.4 GB left in your USB.

an average 360 game is roughly 6 GB or so.

how much space does it left shown with the 8 GB USB ? because the 360 takes a percentage of free space for system requirements. If the remaining space is above 7 GB then that sounds like a weird thing, if it's below 7 GB then you need a bigger USB.

You got to have atleast 7 GIG in your hard drive or any storage drive for the game to install!!!!

Storage Device other than Hard DRive is supported upto 16 or 17 GIG.

You can't use more than 16GB of any external memory device on xbox360... doesn't matter if its a 32GB USB or 1TB ex.HDD...

But you can make a any Hard Drive which has atleast 250GB Capacity to a Xbox 360 250GB Hard Drive.
But for that you need a Xbox 360 Hard Drive Case & some software techniques.

Simply buy a 20GB Xbox 360 Hard Drive & then Modify it with 250GB

      Problem Solved
Every game of Xbox is more than 6GB in size so you must need a usb which is at least 8GB because it will gives you 7.7Gb of space from which xbox reserves 512MB for it self then you are left with 7.3GB of space so you can then install a game into it.
