PS Vita Piracy?

@faizy: I don't believe WajieRaja was trying to discriminate against a certain group of gamers. I understand where you're coming from, and the fact that games are expensive is a downer for all of us sure. But you also have to understand that by condoning piracy, you're basically saying that its ok to steal!! Now don't get me wrong, I am not the moral police here as I am also a big advocate of pirated games. But I do understand the importance of legitimate games. Case in point, I have fifa on my vita and I haven't played the single player aspect of it as of yet, because for me, the fun lies in the online component of the game (which reminds me, we have to play together ). But the thing is, the example you quoted was an excellent one. If we get games and consoles on a subsidized rate here in Pakistan, then of course, no one in their right mind would try and support piracy. However, I still feel that nowadays, piracy is become more of a boon then a bane as it has become extremely difficult to keep a Sony console pirated for long.

Oh! How I yearn for the PS2 days......SO simple and elegant. But also remember that having a ton of pirated games can seriously diminish the value and experience you gain from each game mate.

Yup, Its called something like wololo or VHBL or something along those lines. However, it required specific PSP games from the PSN store and AFAIK, those games were removed and patched by Sony

nah i dont believe that anymore....they couldnt hack the ps3 after hacking it once...and sony is clever ...this handheld will be hack proof

..... we have a great example of Microsoft India .. these guys brought down the prices of legit games and consoles in india

15000 IR for a 360 console
800-1000 IR for a standard Ed Game
2000-2500 IR for a limited Ed game

even if those prices are correct, please keep in mind the value of IR against PKR. thus the cost below

1.7 PKR is 1 INR
26000 for a 360
1700 for a game, nd i cant agree every game costs this much, it only goes for pc games, nd that too for keys.
4300 for a limited ed game,
same case as above.

the games are that cheap ... i got my racket sports reg2 from there thru a relative and it only costed me 1800 for a BRAND new game... same goes for my MK9 brand new ... got Gears Of War 3 for a friend ... all in the 1800-2000 tab .. .... and here every other game's standard edition costs above 4k .... you can check the prices .. just google microsoft india store and you will get to know /..

P.S. .... only low priced and low rated titles' limited editions go for 4-4.5 k .... all others are well over 5k ... ive been a regular buyer .. and so have you .. so you should know

Oh, c'mon!
If you have such a short interest span that as soon as you get a new game you ditch the old one, why bother even calling yourself a gamer? :S You are prolly just here to pass some time, or maybe just coz your friends are playing it!

Seriously! Since when did piracy start ditching the fun? And saving some cash just increases it... Hell this is not even an argument for or against piracy!

If you like a game you'll play it over and over, don't matter if it's legit or pirated.

I played Diablo 2 on pc for a decade even though it was pirated! And I played a ton of games both pirated and genuine on the PSP and had equal amount of fun, if anything the pirated ones were more fun as I really don't have a rich daddy showering me with money!

But then again, this is hell NO argument for or against piracy :S
