Starting Final Fantasy. Where to start?

There is nothing worse than glitches on an emulated game

Still I hope that the gameplay is seamless. But I doubt it since I'll play the game on a tablet, not on the PC.

@Shary Bhallu TC..............Dude I'm telling you FF XIII is the best starting off point for any beginners or for people who've never experienced FF before.You'll love it, trust me.I went down the same path.

You'll just love the production quality, the awesome visuals and CGI, fantastic voice acting and you should appreciate the fast paced and cinematic battle system too.Once you're done with XIII you'll automatically wanna play every other game in the series

final fantasies worth playing:

Final Fantasy VII (if you don't play this, drop the entire series.... My personal favourite game of all time)
Final Fantasy VIII
Final Fantasy X
Final Fantasy XIII (mixed reviews regarding this... i for one, absolutely love this game.... absolute gem)

So true about FF13, a lot of hate for it but i really loved it.

Im also with you, loved ff13, its a real gem, especially if you play it on HD TV, a real treat for the eyes

@Muaaz.......You should play FF XIII since you already have a PS3. Plus FF VII, VIII and IX are already available on PSN for the PS3 if I'm not mistaken and FF X will be on the PS3 soon too.

Not at all, it mostly has to do with the fact that they age back to the 8-bit and 16-bit era. Either no one's played them or do not remember them as vividly. They've since received remakes for modern audiences.
