A post over on Rockstar's official website has brought word that a 3-part original Max Payne 3 comic series is on the way. As the result of a partnership between Rockstar Games and Marvel Custom Solutions, the comic series is being written by Rockstar's Dan Houser and Remedy's Sam Lake and will feature cover art from Greg Horn and pencils and inks by Fernando Blancoto. The Max Payne 3 comic series will be released as a digital graphic novel and also in limited print edition for those of you that prefer the real deal in your hands.

Details on the actual content of the comics are slim at the moment, but what we do know is that the original series will "delve into Max's troubled past – exploring the events that occurred in and around both Max Payne and Max Payne 2, leading up to Max Payne 3 while also shedding new light on Max's early years."

Fair enough.

Issue #1: "After the Fall", is scheduled to be released at some point over the next few weeks for free via the Rockstar Newswire, the Max Payne 3 Official Site and additional digital comic channels. Of course, we'll keep you posted as new details on the comic series emerge.

Max Payne 3 PC Specs Revealed, New Screens Released



A post over on Rockstar's website has detailed exactly what PC fans can expect in terms of specs for the upcoming Max Payne 3 but be warned, you'll probably wanna start clearing off some hard drive space now…

According to the post, Rockstar suggests that a whopping 35 GB of HDD space be available for the install, which is rather, uh, "robust" by many a PC game standards. As detailed by Rockstar though, the PC version of the game is gonna look bad-ass as it supports DirectX11 including tessellation, as well as a other fancy-pants graphics options to put your PC through its paces.
Anyway, here are the full Max Payne 3 PC System Specs:
