The whole reason given for the cycle in the game is very illogical and stupid.Don't expect to be blown away by the plot or anything,just enjoy the experiences you have with your team members, that's what ME3 is all about.

That would end their process of reproduction, Vigil explained in ME1 that Reapers harvest advanced civilizations leaving the minor ones so that the can evolve along their desired paths which is the discovery of relays/citadel.

Reapers need a race which has expanded throughout the galaxy, the reapers then come back after signaled by the keepers so they can start their harvesting and building more of themselves, In Mass Effect 2 Collectors (Reaperized Protheans) acted as agents to the reapers which were harvesting human colonies to build one of the smartest and toughest reaper ever, that was the human reaper.

Exactly, like in the DLC mission, Javik points out that during his time the Asari were not able to read or write.

Perhaps the only way for the cycles of harvesting and genocide to not continue and for the races to select their own paths, the destruction of the relays is the only way!

Mass Effect 3's Extended Cut Soundtrack Now Available For Free


The ending of Mass Effect 3 will probably remain controversial for a very long time. Even the Extended Cut didn't satisfy everybody. But there is at least one thing everybody can get out of it.
Sam Hulick was brought back in for the Extended Cut to compose new music. And now that the free DLC is available, BioWare has also released the score for free to all comers.

There are seven tracks totaling sixteen minutes of music. As you might have guessed it's not the most cheerful part of the game's score. But it does showcase Hulick's talent as a composer and, besides, it's free.
You will need to create an account for the BioWare social network if you don't already have one. It's a nice giveaway to open the weekend.

Sadly, Marauder Shields has been denied a theme song. But we can dream.

Yep, it does a great job of giving the closure people clamored about, and while it doesn't answer ALL the loopholes, it does tackle some of the major one's (relays being destroyed, how the remaining squad got on the normandy and when the ship broke from the fleet to escape, the normandy being stranded on the jungle planet etc).

Ended the game a day ago, probably most disappointing and outright most ignorant ending ever seen in a game, so many questions were unanswered.
