Agreed, while i haven't tried out the Kinect. The PS Move only comes out when i have female friends over who want to play games or casual gamers. None of my friends who are seriously into games ever play with the Move, even though all of them own it.

I just don't see the point of integration with games at all. In competitive and power gaming, Efficiency is key. The amount of inputs per second are vital, RTS, VS Fighting Games, Driving Games, RPGs ( Hack & Slash ), Action Games are all extremely dependent on how fast and accurately you can input commands. Motion Gaming will always add a degree of input lag and extra exertion.

Motion Gaming is for kids and casual gamers. If you'd rather play a game with the motion controller over a conventional controller. You are an idiot.

^^even though i agree with u 100%,ur timing is quite wrong.in this game multiple command orders that would require several inputs by controller can be done by saying just 2-4 words so yeah in this case motion control wins(although motion has nothing to do with it )

@others: guys guys don't blame MS or bioware for implementing kinect voice commands in ME3.these features are there to complement those who bought the sensor and feel like they wasted their cash.if small things like these become part of almost all games on 360 then kinect has a potential use for us mature gamers too

Like you said yourself, this isn't motion gaming or a unique usage of Kinect. This is simple voice command that all current gaming platforms are capable of, with a simple $5-10 accessory (not something that costs $150). Even DS games have such features.

But to be honest, as far as I'm concerned, giving voice commands to game characters is much worse than motion controls. If I HAVE to use either motion controls or voice commands, I'll always pick motion controls (like move, not talking about those stupid kinect games).

the lag is the biggest hindrance for kinect.its just way too much for hardcore games. Sold my Kinect Yesterday and iam relieved .

Umm u are aware voice recognition could fail to register your voice and accent. I use Siri on my iphone 4S, probably the best voice AI in the market. It still gets commands wrong every now and then.

So here's a scenario, James Heal Me, Voice Software picks it up as help me or something and you get killed.

I don't want that added frustration in games.
