PS3 Restarts within a minute

I have PS3 NTSC J 60 gb fat version.

It turns off automatically within a minute of start, then Red light starts blinking. I do not hear fan running when it starts.

Is it a heating problem and can it be fixed ?
Any good repairer in Lahore ?

or by chance anyone can put an exchange offer with PS3 slim ?

i can buy slim now. now where's the money ...

Another question, i was playing killzone-3 online these days (like crazy for hours, probably the cause of ylod) . Will i loose all the progress ???

yes if it GETS YLOD AND ISNT REPAIRABLE he can lose all his stuff !

just transfer all ur stuff to another ps3 slim EXTERNAL HDD using the inbuilt ps3 backup program and get a new slim ! ur ps3's GONNA get ylod soon my friend

nothing can be done... i got ylod and it couldnt even be fixed

its not even allowing me to save data & lately giving hard disk error after tried to correct it using safe mode. I think its done.

You will loose the saves but not the trophies. Any data that is synced online wont be lost.

^^ thanks. that's some relief. Now looking for PS3-slim 160 or 320gb (with move pack, but with warranty) where to get it ??? Any ideas?? Sony centres only selling 320 gbwith move pack worth 40700/-.

w0w thats expensive ! warranty is just meh with slim ! its a slim so theres nothing to be worried about other than its hard drive getting corrupt or crash etc... other than that there are no system flaws itself in the slim ! so get a non warranty one and those are way cheaper than 40k lol
