      DualShock 3 Problems?

      My 2nd post here :3

Today while I was playing Assassins Creed Brotherhood, my left analog stick started acting strange, it would stop working for a few seconds and then work fine again. After a few minutes something happened to it, my player kept going back/down. It looked like the left analog was stuck or something from the inside. I circled the analog for a few minutes but it didn't do any good, tried resetting too.

Then I got it replaced from the store. Strangely, the new one also had a problem, this time with the right analog stick. The camera kept rotating to the right, the analog stick was probably stuck or something. Tried the same methods to fix it but no use. I gave a call to the guy at the store, he said that its not the controller, its because of the custom firmware, and that this problem is with a few games (i have kmeaw 3.55).

After that I tried a few more games. I tried Way of the Samurai 3, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Final Fantasy XIII. Also tried Gundam from the original blu-ray disk but the problem was still there.

Please let me know what's wrong. Is it really because of the cfw? If so then why is the problem still there on an original game and even on the xmb (the menu bars keep going down)? or is it because the ds3 might be fake? thank you

here are a few pics of my ds3:

I believe the controller is fake. Notice that golden sticker on the bottom-side of the controller, an original controller wouldn't have that problem. And no, this is not because you have a custom firmware. Thousands of people are using the custom firmware and none of them face such an issue. Claim an original controller from the shopkeeper or get your money back.
