hey mates i know this is a stupid question but em new to this all stuff soo i needed to ask this ...well using a pakistani ip address can get u banned from xbox live or not ??

no not from id address

Your IP Address doesn't determine anything and can't get you banned.
It is the detection of a mod in your Xbox that makes the difference.
Spoofed drives stand no chance at all of you going and playing online safely where as with an LT+ Soft Mod you can play online but eventually you will ge detected in one of Microsoft's big crackdowns.

ooohh well em using and original xbox there isnt a mod for xbox S model the 250gig not yet but there is going to be .. soo that means i cant get banned

I have the same console. I would have suggested that you rather you hadn't updated it as it might cause some problems when the mod comes out.

yerp mod close this thread ... actually i have been going live for abt 2 years now the reason i faced this problem was that my wireless router broke and now i have to use the direct connection to use xbox live

The 360 S is the only 360 with built in WI Fi. Unless you had a wireless adapter that is a bit impossible. :/

Secondly, get a new router. I'd suggest one from TP LINK N series. It's cheap and has good range.

well i had a wired connection between the router and the xbox and i had a linksys router its not totally brokin i have been facing some problem with that i cant resolve

You've probably severed the connectors. It's very common in routers. As i stated earlier get a TP LINK N SERIES. I's cheap effective and has a good build quality.

yeah thinking of getting that but they are low quality then linksys router ... cisco is quite a big company
