Will I be banned for this?

I updated my xbox 360 to LT 2.0 by powering through xbox. I have liteon drive. Now if I play online using original disk how much chance are there that I will be banned. I am not talking about connecting to live right now but when LT 3.0 will come out then. I have not connected to live ever using this xbox.

^ A dae.bin has probably silently been installed on your Xbox, which means that you can't play XDG3/AP25 backups anymore. According to c4eva, you will be flagged and will be banned whenever the banwave occurs.

Now that ofcourse depends on Microsoft. Maybe they won't do any harm to your console...but my point is this. If you play online with a modded console, you are ALWAYS at risk.
