Matchmaking depends on the user's cumulative gamerscore, rep, location, language and gamer zone.
What's the region of your account i.e the location you gave while creating your email?

1-Post TU6 tweak fix - Can't find games! Can't find players!

Before you read this you should know that I couldn't find games also. Solution number 1 worked for me, lot's of my friends and lot's of people here on the forums, good luck!

You should read the rest of the thread, you might find useful information.

Things you should know:

-Be calm, think, READ everything (full thread), make some effort of your own
-Matchmaking is now more strict, your configuration needs to be optimized, that alone may be the reason for you not finding matches
-If your ping is lower than 100 to USA or UK with a class A result in http://www.pingtest.net/ and you can't find matches, it should be your configuration
-If your ping is over 100 to that countries but lower than 175, SOCIAL should work for you
-If someone near you can find matches and you can't, something is definitely wrong with your configuration (hardware/software)
-Matchmaking process sometimes needs to be STOPPED and then START again, just like prior to TU6
-Matchmaking is slower than prior to TU6
-This solutions might not be enough, you have to optimize your configuration, read the full thread

So you can't find jack? The solution is quite simple!

How do you do this?

1-Go to the world map and look for the nearest country to yours in which you think Gears population is high
2-Go to http://www.pingtest.net/ and test your ping to that country, it's important that the ping is lower than 175, the lower the better, under 100 it's the best 0<ping<175
3-If the ping is bigger than 175 go back to step 1 and look for another country
4-Turn your XBOX360 on and go to system settings->locale and change your location to that country, save. Country selection isn't always the obvious USA and UK, for someone at this thread Spain was the solution for example
5-Turn off your XBOX360, turn it on
6-Play Gears! Buy stuff from the marketplace and support EPIC!

Note that by changing the local you aren't changing your real location, your real location it's bounded to your LIVE account. An easy way to prove this is that you won't get the dashboard content of the USA just by changing it to USA (for example NetFlix). If you want to see the USA dashboard and content you can create a silver LIVE account located there.

Nop! Just kidding! Someone at this thread with no luck with solution number 1 (number 2 always works), switched his router TO A NEW ONE, changed the locale, turned everything off then on and voilà! Gears was working. If solution number 1 fails on you and you have the possibility to do this give it a try. Routers can be very pesky....

If none of this solutions worked for you maybe you are too far away from the action, maybe your connection isn't good enough, maybe no one is playing at the same time as you. I really don't know, but if it's your case, you should try to talk with EPIC, post in this thread for example. Don't forget that solution number 2 works for everyone and be polite.

The part where he tells you try the pingtest, it doesn't have to be 175. Anything around 200 is perfectly playable, after all we're in Pakistan, if we don't compromise who will?

Connection is fine, it's your ping with OTHER countries you need to find out.
Anywho try a country from Europe, we get good ping with Europeans.

Check NAT settings of your router. Change from moderate/strict to open.

It may depend on latency and ur location. I used to have trouble finding games too, so i always played with some XBL friends instead

Just follow the instructions that I posted and make sure your 360 is in a dmz. Gears 2 does not really have the best online anyways, lags like a bitch.
