      how to update xbox 360 firmware..

      hi guys.. how r u...?? im looking for your help guys because im fed of spending 2500-3000 after every 4-6 months...
      Is there any way to update my xbox 360 at home if some can guide me ill really appreciate it because recently i bought xbox 360 slim & it need an update... i upgraded my 360(fat) 2 months back & now again i have to spend some cash & im not in favour...
      now i dnt know what firmware is currently installed kindly tell me the way how to check that as well & i want a to knw the way to update it step by step...

      Thnks alot 4 ur help guyz...TC & i hope there is a way :P or else i have to take it to shop den

      first of all you're paying too much for the updates and updating too frequently. Not all updates are necessary. If you wanna do it yourself then you need to get some tools costing around 7-8k total, then you'll be able to do it yourself and if you want provide a service.

      Also you could get RGH done, do once and forget. No need to buy games anymore and download and copy to the hdd.
