Playstation 4!!! when when when???

As you all know ps3 came out in 2007 and just after 5 years it is already hitting its stride... With the games like Uncharted 3, god of war 3 and killzone 3 ps3 is already maxed out...the developers of naughty dog did say that the next installlment in the series would definately be in the new console sony brings out...

keeping that in mind, if ps3 was maxed out that the microsoft xbox 360 would have maxed out alot before the ps3(not being biased) cuz it has less power compared to the ps3. Also nintendo WII U also came out which belongs to the eigthed generation of consoles...i dont know if it is me but i personally believe that sony would announce the new console by the end of this year or early 2013 at max because gamers would lose interest if there is no graphical jump on upcomming games...

Sony did say that they are not launching the new consoe until ps3 had a full 10 year life span but i hardly believe that...what is your view regarding ps4's release date?

hmm!!! i don't believe.. i think ps4 will be show in 2013 E3.. bez there r some titles which still coming like god of war 4 and the last of us from (Naughty dog).. 2013 is max from my side for ps3... Microsoft have to show thr next console bez they have nothing to compared wit Ps everyone know except from their LIVE....

You're joking, right? They said the PS3 will have a time span of ten years. They'll release the concept and design of the PS4 by 2013, but it will not be released till 2014. When it does go on sale, expect sky high prices and shizz. Support for the PS3 will remain, obviously until a very long time to come.

They can kiss their customers goodbye if they post another 600$ price tag on the release of the PS4. But not to worry cuz I doubt this problem will happen because Sony spent alot of money on the PS3, they out-sourced for the Cell Processor and got a bit of a debt, so the high price was their only escape. But now they are getting everything straight from home and its going to be much cheaper.

So no debt, plus the cheap construction costs should keep it around 300-400$

Good God .... Why does everyone keep harping on about this statement. Sony said they will support the console for 10 years. Not that there won't be another console for 10 years. Sony releases a new console on average 7 years after the previous one. They simultaneously release games for both consoles till the 10th year of the last console.

Unlike Microsoft who halted the original Xbox production and support to force the consumer to switch.

Even the name Xbox360 was put in to give it a marketing edge. You really don't want to call your console Xbox 2 when there is a PS3 on the market. The average consumer or the parents of the teens will automatically think that the Xbox 2 is an inferior product to the PS3.

It's the whole perception law that companies follow by pricing a product at 99$ rather than 100$. Even though there isn't much of difference in the products. It creates a false illusion in the consumers head.

You are right and i know that too but no one would give a shit about ps3 if ps4 comes out...the production of games would minimize and no graphical jump..btw what is your view of the release date of ps4??
