New Signature Rules

when you upload a bigger size signature then the system will decrease the size and the quality of the signature to make it fit according to the rules. I guess you were trying to upload a bigger size or high weight PNG file (allowed limit is 49KB)?

Take a look at my signature it's a transparent PNG as well and it's working fine!

crud...i was using a 99KB file

and i cant seem to get my previous sig to fit the file size criteria in the PNG format (any suggestions as to how to compress it?) and the JPEG and GIF formats just ruin it...guess i'll have to make a new one...

For those who can't just seem to find a solution to their misery (ie. can't meet file size limit without resizing below what they want):

Adobe Photoshop > Save for Web Devices

adjust settings and hopefully you'll get the best compromise b/w quality and size

@iNF3RN0: thats why i said 'the JPEG and GIF formats just ruin it' cuz i tried the 'Save for Web Devices' option ... or if i may rephrase it, by using the 'Save for Web Devices' option and converting the sig into JPEG or GIF format gives a ruined optimized version of the sig...any other way to make it retain its original form?

sorry? you can save a compress PNG transparent image using that option :S who is asking you to save it in GIF or JPG format?

@shabak, sorry man, the lowest it's going it 64.2kb (that's after resizing and compression)

I suggest you make the skull a bit smaller...maybe that'll do the job
