I address you today on this situation before it gets worse. In the good 'ol days, PG was as clean as a sailor's hair cut. The quality was constant, unaffected by fashion fads or other corruptive sources. Since then PG has grown manifolds and we neglected. We didnt look after our hair cut, we let it grow into a mullet. Now is the time to cut that down.

The amount of spam on PG nowadays is just crazy. You cant go through a single page without finding some fillers. Its up to you, the community, to ensure that post quality does not suffer. Would you rather prefer a forum filled with 5 word replies and images?

What is spam? to keep things simple, it is anything that does not add to the discussion. The least you could do is make your offtopic posts funny. Please aviod posts like,

"XYZ is a good developer/game/thing."

oh wow, thanks was telling us that! we didnt bloody notice that written 5 times in the opening post alone. thanks for reminding us.

why do you think its good? whats your experience? does this post even belong in the discussion?

this is retarded, im sure you can convey your horror in better ways that re-posting something that has already been posted quite a few times.

tell us why x is more gay than y. dont leave us hanging, these replies lend to obvious, "why do you say that?" replies but in some cases they start a full arguments when people get ticked off. i dont have to list every type of spam reply possible. just use your head guys, think before you post. use your upper chambers.

Making quality posts will not only get your point across accurately but also help others. It will also stop every thread de-railing in the first few posts and the going the same way for pages.

i hope this does not fall on dead ears, i hope most of us try to put some effort into our posts. i hope PG remains the best goddamn site on the internet.

I hope that spamming and trolling, both are banned. I suggest a rule of thumb, "post if and only if you are going to add something new to the thread." Moreover, use the Quote feature carefully.

now i read the post by radd and it was quite funny but totally true! now i think the majority of the members here at PG do only spaming and nothing else! and from now on we should obey to this law (i will) and be good PG members! and this law should be strictly obeyed or else the spaming member should be permanently banned! may Allah Almighty give long and happy years (of not spaming) life to PG and its members! long live PG! a salute to PG!
