They do they do they do!

Im wearing a Topatoco shirt right now with a Barnes and Noble book on my desk.

Both the sites are offering excellent services.

NOTICE: Barnes and Noble shipping will take 30-40 days. NO MATTER what they say on their website, their shipment is fuking painful time consuming. but the stuff arrives fine

      1 - B&N

Besides the main website, they have SELLERS on the site selling books out of their stock and inventory. check their rating and you can order books from the sellers.

      Here's a neat little secret.

If you order books from a seller on B&N website, the book gets here in 10 days

I got some out-of-print books from sellers. awesome stuff.

2 - Topatoco is a store that maintains stuff by Comic artists and online artists mostly. So yes their stuff is extra special! and the books are fukin brilliant.

3 - Overstock.com: Online Shopping - Bedding, Furniture, Electronics, Jewelry, Clothing & more the site and the shipping is expensive but the service is worth paying!

      4 - Amazon.
I don't order from amazon because If i add 50 items in my cart, only 10 are ship-able to Pakistan. That sucks.

I made a trial account at BNobles, selected a used book for 0.99 USD... got 20$ for shipping. O.K. I can take that if the book's good enuff... but tell me is it worth getting used books, and wats the shipping price thing like? by the kg or what?

I can wait for 30-20 days no issue,,, IF theres little or no chance of fu*kup in shipping etc...

Dude. You can't fight the basic shipping rates. Standard shipping rates apply no matter what.

Used books are only good if its something completely out of print or not available elsewhere.

Like the Autobiography of Oscar Levant I had to get from a seller.

Shipping is not exactly weight related because Ive paid different amounts at times.

      But the shipping is reliable.

and check this out, I've posted this here before.

I ordered books worth 10,000 from Barnes and Noble.

The shipment did not arrive even after 45 days.

I called them up and told them to either send again or give me a refund.

They sent me a refund. Money was back in my bank account.

The books arrived the very next day

I called them up and told them that the books are here and I'm willing to pay for them being an honest man.

Barnes and Noble said " We apologize for the late delivery and delay in our service. please keep the books and your money"

Revisited the an amazing book.... really holds up to the present.

Reproducing below quote frm the book:

And the great owners, who must lose their land in an upheaval, the great owners with access to history, with eyes to read history and to know the great fact: when property accumulates in too few hands it is taken away. And that companion fact: when a majority of the people are hungry and cold they will take by force what they need. And the little screaming fact that sounds through all history: repression works only to strengthen and knit the repressed. The great owners ignored the three cries of history. The land fell into fewer hands, the number of the dispossessed increased, and every effort of the great owners was directed at repression. The money was spent for arms, for gas to protect the great holdings, and spies were sent to catch the murmuring
of revolt so that it might be stamped out.
      and the ever awesome:

and in the eyes of the people there is the failure; and in the eyes of the hungry there is a growing wrath. In the souls of the people the grapes of wrath are filling and growing heavy, growing heavy for the vintage.
I get shivers just reading it,,, seems like Steinback was inventing awesomeness back when it wasnt even a word!
