Gwadar: What's the situation there?

Hey guys...

As you all DONT know, I am doing some research on Gwadar.

Dudes residing in KHI, or in Balochistan would probably have more intel, given their proximity (unlike a Lahori like myself) on what is becoming of Gwadar and more importantly, the port.

An otherwise multi-billion dollar project, with several other investments and implementations planned, what is the current situation there? Is the port operating? Or is it closed down? How's it doing? Any news from any of your friends, relatives, oe any acquaintances there?

I'd be happy to get any updates...

Iam a resident of Balochistan lived my Entire Life In Quetta Cantt and know iam in Lasbela for studies from last 4 years. Iam also doing BS Marine Sciences. Which is entirely related to study of coast and oceans.

But iam unable to get the basic theme of what exactly are you asking. But i would like to mention that Gawadar Port is nothing but a created hype in people of pakistan, its not the deep sea port.
