If you want to go to a foreign Uni, ALevels, if local, FSc. Fsc is more of a ratta thing and not knowledge based, Alevels is more knowledge intensive rather than retention capabilities. Alevels tend to teach you MORE than Fsc, but thats just what I've gathered and heard from seniors.

But I'd say Olevels over Matric totally. (in todays time and space). Firstly, Olevels coursework and syllabi is more knowledge oriented. Jitnay bhi mainay recent graduates daikhay hain, you can easily tell what they've done by the way they speak and their knowledge. I guess its the style of teaching / quality of education that has deteriorated in matriculation.

Oh and no offense meant to any of the students from any of the four groups listed above.

There is a misconception amongst people, that if one does matric and fsc, he cannot enter a foreign university. Don't fall for this.

Bro I did not mean that people who do matric and fsc cannot get into a foreign university, but if you plan on getting into one, take up olevels//alevels options because of the style of teaching and learning.

      Your definitely right here man

@talalthegreat, do you really think that any university abroad would recognise punjab university of pakistan LOL.Local uni's and college's are made for people who plan on staying in pakistan and plan to do a job over here only.
Mind you, there's nothing known as FSC in the whole world except for pakistan just like Suzuki mehran, its made in pakistan and only for pakistanis and no matter how much it sucks, its a local car, thats why it,local companys
would fleece the hell of out you.But that's besides the point,FSC or matric only hold's some value after its equivalency can be done and seeing what the real scores are relating to the studies happening abroad.

As far as O'level's and A'levels is concerned, yes they only don't hold better value for inside pakistan or some uni's abroad, they would get better equivalency scores which would offer better chances of getting into most uni's that recognise British Council abroad.

The poll doesn't even make sense, either make an option for Matric + Fsc and O/A Level, or only Fsc and A level.

i've seen numerous threads that were created for he same topic.. i think it's time we should let this topic go or mods can sticky it so all of the brave students can have a go at it anytime they want and don't create a thread on daily basis :P
