Mitsubishi Mr.Slim is a bit costly depending on what ur budget is. I would suggest LG or Panasonic AC's. I've been using LG Plasma Gold for the last 5 years until I moved to Rawalpindi. Now I have some massive 1 ton Split Dawlance AC but it takes a long time to cool a little room.

I'm gonna quote you the best AC.

      Buy 1.5ton.

All are of great quality difference is of brand some I would say manufacturing.

1.O general. (Cooling 10/10 . Fan speed 8/10). Ultra durable and have very long life if you don't encounter any electricity probs but look is not so good.
2.Panasonic. (Cooling 9/10. Fan speed 10/10). Reliable but not too much but a good choice but shape is very beautiful.
3.Acson. (Cooling 10/10 . Fan speed 9/10). Good reliability and good shape.
4.Mitsubishi. (Cooling 8/10 . Fan speed 9/10). Good reliability and normal shape.
5.Sanyo. (Cooling 9/10. Fan speed 10/10). Reliable and very beautiful takes very small space even the 1.5 ton model.

Note: I have personally experienced general, panasonic, acson and sanyo.
Fan speed means how much area it would cover and they are stated in accordance that the fan is running on its full speed.
Buying one of the stated choice I'm quite certain you would be happy.

Recommendation: I would prefer you to buy anyone of these except mitsubishi. General is actually for commercial purpose. Panasonic totally for domestic. Acson for both. Sanyo also for home.
