Great for beginners. I personally love the second one. You did a nice job with the shading on her hair. For starters, you need to focus on your curves. Like the hair falling from the left of her forehead looks kinda jaggy where it shouldn't. Keep a really soft hand when sketching. Gradually make the outlines and dark areas darker. You will preferably want to start with the geometric model of the object and refine the shapes of the head from that. It seems like its hard to do it at first but it really is quite helpful. The sketches that you imitated don't look bad at all. They just need to be a little more neat. Never just jam your pencil into the paper and draw. Keep a really lose hand. And if possible, don't darken anything until you are satisfied with the basic shape.
Thats all I can say for now.

I was trying to make it with light hand. I realized that its not an easy stuff to do. The hardest part is to imagine what you wanna draw.
Anyway i was using substandard papers for sketching. Next time i'll use fine and good quality papers.I heard that sketches and drawing does matters on papers as well.
I'm working on more stuff. InsAllah i upload here..

Yeah it really does matter. I don't exactly know what they are called. But I usually use those large art pads with hard paper and it also feels a bit grainy. Its really easy to erase on these and it reduces the handprints and erase marks on the sketch.

Thanks for the appreciation..Thats the beginning. I'm also learning CS5 for coloring these sketches. Plus i'm new drawing that will take a lot of time because of your own imagination a not rip off of course..wish me a luck
