Many indie developers feel they can be really successful doing IPhone games or other such platforms like BigFishGames or even Steam. But besides a great product, You also need good Marketing and Hype.

I myself have such an experience few years back where I made a Shareware game (MinesXP). I even priced it really high and hoped it will some how get noticed but I hardly made over $100 with it.

So whats left for us? FREE Games?? I am doing just that i.e Flash. Because people love free stuff and they can't be bothered with downloading and installing Apps.
