      Need Help for Vista

I have used pre-build versions of Vista dont remember there build but it was like5047 and 5688 something like that (not sure)- in both of those builds i could play Yahoo Games and Limewire worked too.

now i have bought 2 different DVDs of 6000 build but neither Yahoo Games work nor Limewire..

1st copy of vista is allready cracked upon installation but it doesnt have any auto patch utility which installs java and other updates of vista - i downloaded the latest version of java and installed it but Yahoo Games and Limewire doesnt work.

2nd copy of vista required a crack and then a auto patch utility to install various critical updates by microsoft. it included java, flash player and shock player etc. - i installed java through that patch then it prompted me for upgrade now i have even upgraded it but same shit neither limewire work or Yahoo Games work - even web2sms of Telenor doesnt work on it as it requires java - i havent encountered any other problem with vista but this is my 5th DVD of vista and 2nd one with this problem.

could vista user please confirm if Yahoo Games or Limewire work on their final build ????

Help will be appreciated or i am gona burn these DVDs.

Note: i use cable net - all the stuff i mentioned runs in the pre build windows vista and win xp on same internet - it just doesnt work with the final build of the windows

yes I have the final 6xxxx build and limewire is working fine on it, you need to install the Java runtime environment for limewire to work properly!

I don't know about the yahoo games, as I never tested it.

And don't gives a shit about Vista SP1, it's still in the RC phase, contains only back-end updates, wait for the final release and off-course the Anti-nag/WGA patch :P

ok guys i finally found a solution for it - which i should have tried earlier but i uninstalled the vista in frustration at that time.

you just need latest version of ISA Client on vista so you can run limewire and yahoo pool.
