The show opened with Tedd Long and Vickie Guerrero talking from the top of the ramp. Long announced there would be an eight man Money in the Bank ladder match at next month's pay-per-view and the winner could cash it in for a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship. Vickie Guerrero spoke before Drew McIntyre came out and ran down Long. Long informed McIntyre it's his show and reinstated Matt Hardy. McIntyre vs. Hardy is announced for later.

* Following the Smackdown opening, Big Show comes out. Kane vs. CM Punk in a no disqualification match is announced for later. Jack Swagger comes out and says he's protesting how he was treated at Fatal 4-Way and he's exercising his rematch clause against Rey Mysterio for the World Heavyweight Championship at Money in the Bank next month.

* Big Show b. Jack Swagger via disqualification after Swagger would not release an ankle lock despite Show getting to the ropes. The referee called for the bell as Show was carried to the back by several referees. The sight of the referees carrying Big Show drew a pop from the liv ecrowd.

* Footage of Curt Hawkins & Vance Archer over Christian & MVP is shown from last week.

* WWE Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston, Christian & MVP b. Curt Hawkins, Dolph Ziggler & Vance Archer in a 6-man tag team match.

* Backstage, Kane is talking to an empty casket. He says he's going to take off the head of the Straight Edge Society tonight in his no disqualification match with CM Punk. Kane slammed the casket shut.

* Matt Hardy b. Drew McIntyre after hitting Twist of Fate. After the match, Teddy Long comes on the big screen and tells McIntyre because he didn't win the match, his Visa has expired and he's now in the country illegally. He says it's time to send Mr. McIntyre back to Scotland. McIntyre is upset as the crowd chants him goodbye.
Cody Rhodes and Husky Harris out for an in-ring promo. Rhodes put over his looks.

* Backstage, Dolph Ziggler is telling Vickie Guerrero he is unhappy with their relationship. He demanded a title match before leaving.

* Kelly Kelly b. Rosa Mendes

* CM Punk vs. Kane doesn't see a winner in a no disqualification match. Kane chokeslammed Luke Gallows into a table and threw Punk into the crowd. Punk left but Kane followed, continuing the match throughout the arena. Kane chokeslammed him through a table but Punk recovered to the point where he was able to run across the street as Kane went after him.

* Teddy Long came out and announced Jack Swagger vs. Big Show in a cage match in a post-Smackdown dark match main event.

* SmackDown opens with Jack Swagger talking about beating Big Show last week. Show comes out and beats down Swagger but gets jumped by Cody Rhodes. Rey Mysterio comes out to make the save.

* Teddy Long announces tonight's main event will be Jack Swagger vs. Rey Mysterio for the World Heavyweight Championship.

* Kofi Kingston beat Dolph Ziggler in a solid match.

* CM Punk is shown with his arm in a sling.

* Christian hosts The Peep Show with Matt Hardy. Ladders are setup. It's announced that Drew McIntyre is out of action due to issues with his visa.

* Cody Rhodes is shown in a segment talking to himself in a mirror. He talks about the Money in the Bank match.

* Kane vs. Luke Gallows ends when Straight Edge Society attacks Kane. He clears house. Serena comes in and begs Kane not to hurt CM Punk. A video is shown from May 31st of Serena drinking alcohol at a bar. Punk and Gallows confront her so Punk was there and he couldn't have attacked Undertaker that weekend. SES leaves Serena alone in the ring.

* Chavo Guerrero says he should get an Intercontinental Title shot if he wins his match tonight. Chavo loses to MVP.

* Kelly Kelly beats Michelle McCool by pinfall.

* Rey Mysterio comes out to a big ovation from the crowd. and talks about winning the World Title at Fatal 4 Way and the match with Jack Swagger at Money in the Bank.

* Rey Mysterio and Big Show defeated Cody Rhodes and Jack Swagger by DQ in the main event. Swagger was DQ'd for not releasing a submission hold on Mysterio. SmackDown ends with Rey selling the ankle injury.

Major Backstage Update On Barrett, McIntyre

To follow up on our earlier report regarding the work visa issues with Wade Barrett and Drew McIntyre, we're told at this point that WWE has no idea when McIntyre will be back and the hope was that Barrett would be able to return by next week but nobody knows for sure.

According to a source, WWE creative was told on Tuesday afternoon at the SD! tapings to presume both wouldn't be back until after SummerSlam in August, making things extremely tough more so for Barrett given the way he was booked as the "leader" of the NXT/Nexus group on RAW. It is possible they could both be back sooner, but that was the initial word as of today.

It should be noted that current WWE Champion Sheamus was signed by WWE around the same time as Barrett and McIntyre. The belief as of right now is that he is okay in regards to his work visa, but given the fact how things were handled with Barrett and McIntyre he could possibly be next. This is definitely causing major issues for WWE creative.

The Undertaker & Michelle McCool Get Married - Confirmed

It has been confirmed that WWE stars Michelle McCool and Mark Calaway (a/k/a Undertaker) got married on Saturday in Houston, Texas. The two have been romantically linked since 2007.

The private ceremony was attended by family and numerous friends, including those involved with the wrestling industry. Click here to view a post-wedding photo of McCool alongside longtime friends Torrie Wilson, Lisa Marie Varon, and Sharmell.

Both have been previously married, Calaway having been married two previous times with McCool being married once before. Both have divorced as well in recent years — McCool divorced her "high school sweetheart" in 2006, and Calaway divorced his second wife Sara in 2006 or 2007.

CM Punk Undergoes Surgery - Out 4-8 Weeks

The word at the SmackDown! tapings is that CM Punk had surgery on his arm last week.

Rumor has it that he will be out anywhere from 4-8 weeks. He had been working hurt for a few weeks at least. He came out wearing a sling at tonight's SmackDown! taping.

He apologizes to Long and says he wants in the Smackdown Money in the Bank Ladder Match. Teddy makes Drew get on his knees and suck up to him, finally making Drew vs. Kofi Kingston for a shot in the Money in the Bank Ladder match.

* Dolph Ziggler b. MVP & Chavo Guerrero in a triple-threat match to qualify for a spot in the Smackdown Money in the Bank Ladder Match. Vickie Guerrero was on commentary for the match and ended up getting involved.

* Alberto Del Rio's debut was hyped with a vignette.

* Backstage, Rey Mysterio is being evaluated by a doctor. He's told he has a ligament tear and confirms he's in a lot of pain. Jack Swagger bursts in the room and puts him in an angle lock. Big Show ran in to make the save.

* Curt Hawkins & Vance Archer b. Christian & Matt Hardy

* Drew McIntyre b. WWE Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston to qualify for the Smackdown Money in the Bank Ladder Match. McIntyre won clean.

* An in-ring segment with the Straight Edge Society was taped next. Luke Gallows berated Serena, telling her to leave. However, CM Punk interrupted and said the decision on whether or not to forgive her for her actions last week where they caught her drinking is his. Finally, Punk and Serena embrace but Punk says it better happen again. Gallows left the ring and was not pleased.

Cody Rhodes b. JTG

* Backstage, it's announced Kelly Kelly will face Layla at Money in the Bank. Kelly Kelly is interviewed but is cut off by Layla. Kelly smacks Layla but Michelle McCool comes in and helps her take her out.

* Big Show says he'll make Jack Swagger suffer for his actions against Rey Mysterio.

* Jack Swagger vs. Big Show ends in a double count out. Kane got involved and took Swagger to an interrogation room with red lights and accused him of injuring The Undertaker. Swagger said he has an alibi and he'll prove it next week.

Vince McMahon's Latest 'Ban' Is ......?

The latest thing that has been banned in WWE by Vince McMahon is chops (Ric Flair style chest chops) not being allowed. This does not include the straight down chops performed by The Great Khali or the hand print chops by The Big Show.

The general feeling is that McMahon doesn't want people doing the chops as the reaction live among wrestling fans is to do the Ric Flair "Wooooo!" and it reminds people of Flair, something they obviously don't want given he is working for the opposition at the moment

Mitb matches have all been unpredictable though my money would be on kane from smackdown and ted from raw.

Though I am more stoked on who the next mystery gm of raw is. "Stone cold" *fingers crossed*
