"CHAOS ISN'T A PIT, CHAOS IS A LADDER"
Song: The Fear
Artist: Lily Allen
Album: It's not me, It's you
Very nice song; a song about REALITIES. Exactly opposite of how Lily is though. Fits the personality of someone like Paris Hilton
I admire her. She is young, she is sweet and most important of all, she's REAL.
(plus the fact that she doesn't like to wear bras)
This particular video alone has almost 20 million hits!

"Hey, you wanna toothpick?"
-Drive (2011)
well true, this song is unique and catchy. the fact that i like European singers more then Americans nowadays is that they have more versatility in their music and lyrics not sex, sex and booty thing all the time. this English chick no doubt has an ability to perform better but huhuh not a good live performer.... also not so beautiful either in real life..... my dj friend "forthstate" from Oz went for European music tour last year and he showed me his photos with lilly.... she was not pretty at all...no offence but this was the reaction of all other friends when they saw her in the snap in Gladstone, England.

Sounds like the typical Euro-dancepop that's slowly plaguing American music as well. But I like the lyrics, they're funny.
I guess I would be one of the oddities who doesn't like Nickelback...or Creed...or Seether... or any other bastardised lovechild of radio-friendly grunge music.
Music for people who know nothing about music I guess, because anyone with even the elementary knowledge of music would know how cliche this song is.
You like trance a lot, don't you? lol
It hasn't exactly been a week yet, but here's my next song!
Track: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6j7huh5Egew"]Seven Nation Army[/ame]
Artist/Band: The White Stripes
Album: Elephant
Genre: Hard Rock, Garage Rock
Comments: Probably the most genuinely rocking track released in the last ten years. An awesome, awesome song from an awesome band. Highly recommended to just about everyone!
How incongruous that some ppl still think European music is polluting the music scene but in real it's opposite. Lilly music is not a dance act, it's pure pop/brit pop. American's were damn good in the 50's till late 90's but now it's viable to count good artists and bands on fingertips, whereas there's an immense list of euro music contributors that are hell lotta better then ones in states, can continue more for this section but it's a long debate that never ends and require a lot of time.
coming to nickelback and seether, well both are outstanding and magnificent, the new cover version of the Wham! now it's English duo of the 80's (awesome) "careless whisper" sung by these South African metal/rock band has an absolute cracker. never listened someone copied someone's song so superlative. big hands for them. by the way who needs
["evanescence", "green day" expired piece of junks.]
seven nation army by "white stripes" is a quality stuff indeed and really it got good response from the music fans.

A great song indeed . I've been listening to her a lot these days . Do try "Not Fair" . It's an awesome track as well . I really like her style , humorous and sensible . Not outright mindless lyrics and videos .
It's an Alt. Rock song . And a legendary hit indeed . Love it . I would also recommend you 'Feel the Silence' and 'Let love In' .
I don't know why , but whenever I listen to The goo goo dolls , I always get this nostalgic feeling , their songs are always depicting reality , something meaninful , something one might care for .
I second that . American artists were good till the 90's . But I've always been more into European Artists , it's a no brainer for me since Europe is the birthplace for Trance Music . But still , I've love the work of some renowned artists such as Modern Talking . And if anybody here likes Modern Talking , then he'd be a fantastic person to talk to .
I mean , who hasn't listened to "Cheri Cheri Lady" , "You're my heart , you're my soul" !!
@ Arsal : You're quite right , I really love trance but I don't rate it based on any sort of fanboyism . I believe that the songs I recommend to others are definitely worth listening for people who've even the slightest interest in music . But we all know that at the end of the day it all comes down to personal taste . But then again , one has to recommend to others what he likes , doesn't he ?![]()
