It's amazing how when a person seemingly important to the plot gets gravely injured, Spartacus is adamant on taking him with them even when his men are against the idea but when some random dude gets even a flesh wound, he suddenly decides to respect their wishes and leave them right then and there to rot. I continue to not give a shit about the rebels, the scheming romans remain the highlight of the show.

I don't really care what someone else likes.

Well, it is pretty over-the-top, but at the same time it's full-on entertainment. That, and some of the characters are very interesting. You should probably give it another chance.
