I guess there was just no place to take the character with the crew getting so crowded, better to kill him off that be wasted away in the background.

yeah.. he might be as skilled as the trio of spartacus/gannicus/crixus... but he really wasn't worth it... although he was the sound of reason in them...

No my friend it will be season 3. According to Imdb and all the sources you can check it was season 02.

the Gods of Arena was little aside T.V show that they made because of hero was ill. thats the only season on that tv-series.. i think you are counting it in..

i watched all episodes of spartacus including the Gods of Arena.
