out of all the movies mentioned.. a mighty heart is completely in pakistan with pakistani actors and angelina jolie... don't know if vertical limit is fully shot in pakistan as it is about k2 but they could have made it on easier peaks... and that bhowani junction looks to have been shot completely in pakistan as well...
There's one a new movie (a year or so) made in Pakistan in Northern Parts (particuarly in Peshawar) by an ..?.. director ... will unleash it soon as i've seen it last year in Dendy cinema in Canberra and also will 've a review on this soon. Me and ma friends all with majority Aussie audiences were at the film's premiere. if one will wish for a download link for a whole movie will glad to forward it on request. hopefully be posting its review in some hour and name will come surfacing for all movie addicts.\
had a good time there met with Pakistani actor (i've a proof of that in the form of a group snap) and all those who'd a combine effort in making that movie

A mighty heart wasn't shot in Pakistan, they just used pre captured footage of Karachi and it was shot in India and had Indian/bollywood actors.out of all the movies mentioned.. a mighty heart is completely in pakistan with pakistani actors and angelina jolie
partition (2007)
another movie about pakistan/india partition
starring Jimi Mistry and Kristin Kreuk
nominated for several awards
Yup, some of it was shot in Khewra as well, the train bits I think.
I'd also like to recommend "Traffik"; it's a Channel 4 mini-series about the drug trade in Pakistan and how it's linked to lives in Germany and England. It's pretty decent, has Julia Ormond in one of her younger roles. Also stars some Pakistani actors, Fariyal Gohar as well.
Oh, and it was ripped off by Soderbergh.... remember the movie "Traffic"? Based on this series.
ok mate. check this out !!! waiting period is over ... The Movies Thread II: Watch, Discuss and Have Fun!
