Heat VS Public Enemies

Hey guys, Michael Mann his directring a new movie which will be released on 1st July, 2009. For those who don;t know who Michael Mann is I will give a brief description: Michael Mann is an American Director, Writer and Producer who has directed several highly acclaimed Movies. His Notable movies include:
1. Heat (1995)
2. The Insider (1999) (received an Oscar Nomination for Best Director)
3. Ali (2000)
4. Collateral (2004)
5. Miami Vice (2006)

His best movie so far is Heat starring the two greatest actors hollywood has ever produced : Al Pacino and Robert DeNiro.

Heat was a crime saga and a fierce battle between a cop (Pacino) and a robber (DeNiro). The Film included a long list of supporting actors like :Val Kilmer (in a truly exceptional role) , Tom Sizemore, Natalie Portman, and many others. The movie also features several adrenaline filled robbery scenes. And also a scene in the coffe house which is without doubt the best scene in the history of Hollywood : Pacino and DeNiro discussing their lives over a cup of coffee like a couple of regular fellas.

And now he is directing Public Enemies which will star Johnny Depp and Christian Bale.
The media has frequently compared this movie to Mann's Heat, some even calling it HEAT II. Now Bale may not be such a big star, though he has starred in several big budget movies like Batman Begins, The Dark Knight and the upcoming Terminator Movie but he is not comparable to Depp who is no doubt the biggest star of Hollywood today, apart from probably George Clooney. Public Enemies is a crime movie set in 1930s depression era when John Dillinger (Depp) started robbing banks and became a nuisance for the Government although the Public was with him as they hated the banks who had thrust their economy into depression.

So what do you think about this movie? It will be released on 1st July, 2009.

soo much looking forward to this one

amazing man one of my fav actore J.Depp is in this one

and who knows the riddler might actually and please let it be depp in the new batman movie :P i would totally despise if that so called rumour about eddie murphy being the riddler gets true :S

how u compare both movies rite now..public enemies isnt out yet....we just wait to see that how both actors

delivers their performances.....but u can't compared both of them too al pacino and robert de niro they r legends

heat was unique n will be never be made

Beside this movie goes we have to wait n c how it delivers n how both actor's deliver there performance
