Gamer Movie from the Directors & Writers of Crank series

Here comes the movie directed by Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor (The directors & writers of Crank series). The movie stars Gerard Butler (300). The trailer look so promising. I really like Crank series, lets see what those Guys bring us.

In May 2007, Lakeshore Entertainment started a movie project named Gamer, But On 31 March 2009, it was announced that the movie had been renamed. Its new title being Citizen Game. this was later confirmed by Lionsgate Publicity On 8 May 2009 another name change was announced, the new name being Gamer (Again).

Plot:
Set in the near-future, mind-control technology has taken society by storm and a multiplayer on-line game called "Slayers" allows humans control other humans in mass-scale. Simon (Lerman) controls Kable (Butler), the on-line champion of the game, and with his every move tracked by millions, his ultimate challenge becomes regaining his identity and independence by defeating the game's mastermind (Hall) through launching an attack on the system that has imprisoned him.

Well I'm not really a big fan of the Crank movies .. just action and nudity everywhere, with no story whatsoever .. highly unrealistic ..

But I hope this movie's good ...

^^ahmadka u r right, they have no stories, but the violence, action, nudity, fast tempo, soundtrack, stylized film making make u feel like Whoa. U feels the thrill & its like adrenaline pumping through ur veins.

Oh Sorry back to topic, I really like the way those directors & writers done their work. Hoping for the best in Gamer.

man soo many good cast milo from heroes, our very own dexter morgan is in this movie aswell this movie looks awesome man, and yeah whats not to like mindless shooting and action hehe nice

Gerald Butler acted fantastically in Rock n Rolla. Also the movie features Dexter. Star studded cast. I don't really like Milo.

That was a great movie. I couldn't believe I was looking at the same guy from '300'.

The film itself probably will pretty bad going by the director's track record, but DEXTER MORGAN will watch just to see some creepy badass acting from him.
